Welcome to the official site of RealNeighborhoods ™, “the GPS of Real Estate” representing the greater Fort Lauderdale area. Our clients have told us that the Neighborhood they choose is equal as important to them as the home they decide to buy, It can be a defining part of their lifestyle. So we have created a new integrated way of searching for homes, condos, co-ops, townhomes and income properties by exact Neighborhoods in real time.

Our neighborhood boundaries are the same used by all of the greater Fort Lauderdale’s official service departments and most have their own Neighborhood Associations. As you can see by our map, East Broward County is divided into three very distinct areas, North, Central and South East Broward. On your left is a list of Neighborhoods by area and when you scroll over the map with your mouse you will see its location, its proximity to oceanfront, riverfront, beachfront  and many other great Neighborhoods that surround our city. Each Neighborhood will give you their history, population, square miles, average list price, and median age.

Fort Lauderdale is a great city with a small town feel with only a population of 167,000 residents, our city is as exciting by land as it is by sea. We have many great restaurants on the water that can be accessed both by water or by land. Our city features a tropical rainforest climate with little seasonal variation in temperature, average monthly temperatures are always above 66 degrees Fahrenheit (18.9 centigrades). With 165 miles of waterways within its city, it has become known as the “Venice of America” Fort Lauderdale is also home to Port Everglades, the nation’s third busiest port and as the “Yachting Capital of the World”, we will host the 55th Fort Lauderdale international boat show, the largest in the world and many say the most diverse and exciting.

If you’re thinking of retiring or just need great medical care we are served by Broward General Medical Center and Imperial Point Medical Center which are operated by Broward Health, the third largest hospital consortium in the United States. So, if you need a change of climate, looking for a new home, or retiring, Fort Lauderdale could be your place. Did I mention  that we have over 3,000 hours of sunshine and 7 miles of sandy beaches?
